    See ya soon

Tuesday, September 12, 2006, 09:48 PM CST [General]

So I had this PRK eye procedure done last week and went in for a follow-up visit Today. Everything is moving along as expected. It's just a slow recovery process. Ii'm still dealing with blurry vision which makes driving insane... I'm struggling big time even writing this emal.  It's just crazy seeing about 12 of everything I look at. i'm looking forward to having this heal up and it will. I know it's just temporary, but it seems like it's taking FOREVER!!!

    Gotta give props...

TJ, Janet, & Jrod's online petition is very cool. If you haven't checked it out yet...do it at KJ103fm.com keyword "petition." Then sign up. We can't do anything about what happened 5 years ago, but we can do things to help others now. I have never worked with another Morning Show who does more for the community. They give it back and then some!!! There are alot of people who sit back and critisize others, right? But it's another thing to take action.

    Peace.

    Vision Correction

Thursday, September 7, 2006, 10:24 PM CST [General]

So Today I went to the Advanced Lazer Center to have a procedure called "PRK" and it was crazy. I was really apprehensive about it, but after the couple of Valium they gave me I finally started to settle down lol. The whole procedure is actually short. The recover time is 3-4 days. The vision isn't clear for a couple days and it's a little uncomfortable but they gave me something for that too haha. I've got a handful of eye drops I'm suppose to be putting in like every hour the first day. I was far sighted, but already notice i can see much better up close. I have mono vision now meaning one eye can see better close up and the other at a distance, then they balance each other out. I can't really see clearly from beyond 3 ft at the moment...but I'll keep you posted on my progress. I gotta go back in Tomorrow Morning. I can't say enough about Dr Belardo, Mike, and the staff. THEY ROCK!!!
